How it feels
Medium-firm and even, with a quilted cashmere-blend cover that is the first thing anyone comments on. There is about an inch of give before the coil unit engages, which puts it between the Saatva's immediate pushback and the Helix's slow yield.
Nothing about the feel gives away the price. Blind, our testers guessed $1,800 for it.
Support
8.5 on our scale, which is half a point behind the premium hybrids and roughly a point ahead of anything all-foam. Spinal alignment stayed inside three degrees of neutral for our 135 and 175 lb testers on their backs. Our 240 lb tester measured 2.0 inches of hip sink, which is acceptable but visibly worse than the WinkBeds' 1.1.
The practical reading: this is a good mattress up to about 230 lb per person and an increasingly marginal one above that.
Temperature
+3.8°F over eight hours, the warmest of the four hybrids in this round. The comfort layers are thicker than the Saatva's and there is only one coil layer beneath them, so there is more foam between you and the airflow.
It is still cooler than every all-foam mattress we have measured. If you sleep hot enough for it to be the deciding factor, spend up.
Sharing the bed
Middling on both axes: 8.3 on motion transfer, 8.2 on edge support. The drop test registered clearly but did not wake our light sleeper on most nights. The perimeter compressed 1.6 inches at ten minutes seated — noticeably softer than the WinkBeds, and it has got worse on our three-year-old unit.
The trial is the product
365 nights, free returns after a 30-night break-in, and no processing fee. On a $1,399 mattress that is a genuinely different proposition to a $1,995 mattress with a $99 return charge, because the thing you are underwriting is your own judgement about a purchase you cannot test properly in advance.
For a first-time buyer who does not yet know whether they want a firm surface, this is the lowest-risk order on the site.

9.4, the highest value score we have given. It is half a point behind the $1,995 Saatva Classic on total score, at 70% of the price, with three times the trial window.
